When your furnaces, boilers, kilns, or ducts run hotter than standard commercial insulation can handle, you need industrial thermal insulation built for sustained extreme heat. Ours is made in America, so you get consistent quality instead of the variability of cheap imports.
Every format is here: Alumina-Silica ceramic fiber, dense Nu-Board, and R&R removable blankets, all rated up to 2,300°F.
Alumina-Silica ceramic fiber withstands continuous service at 2,300°F with little physical change to the material. It keeps performing where lesser products shrink, become brittle, or break down.
If imported materials have failed at your service temperatures, start here.
First, here’s how it comes stocked.
Available Formats and Sizes
We carry it in rope, board, paper, fabric, tape, and bulk reels, available in bulk quantities. Source all your industrial insulation materials from one American supplier instead of piecing orders from multiple vendors.
Where Ceramic Fiber Excels
It’s excellent for die cutting, furnace insulation, boiler insulation, kiln insulation, and expansion joint insulation. You’ll find it in furnace linings, steam lines, and boilers across power generation, manufacturing, and heat-treating.
R&R removable reusable blankets are thermal insulation solutions for equipment you have to access. Valves, flanges, and turbines all need service, and cutting away fixed insulation every time adds cost.
Your crew removes the blanket, completes the work, and reinstalls it at the next outage. One purchase covers years of maintenance cycles.
That’s why removable blankets are the standard in the power, chemical, and marine industries.
When you need a high-temperature insulation board instead of a soft product, Nu-Board is the answer. It’s a strong, thin, dense board with superior compression resistance, low thermal conductivity, great thermal shock resistance, and clean die cutting.
Typical uses include furnace linings, elevator shafts, incinerators, aluminum applications, and ceilings and walls exposed to high temperatures.
Both grades share that construction. The difference is heat tolerance.
Nu-Board Original (1,800°F)
Original Nu-Board withstands up to 1,800°F. It’s the right grade for furnace linings, elevator shafts, and walls exposed to sustained heat.
Nu-Board Super (2,300°F)
Super Nu-Board raises the ceiling to 2,300°F. It covers incinerators, aluminum applications, and other severe-service installations.
You’ll find our industrial insulation products in power generation, chemical processing, marine, manufacturing, and fire protection applications nationwide. Typical installations include furnace linings, incinerators, elevator shafts, steam lines, and expansion joints.
If your application involves sustained high heat, we’ve most likely supplied a facility like yours.
Custom Textile Fabrication for Every Format
Every product on this page can be cut, sewn, or shaped to your spec. Our in-house capabilities include die cutting, sewing, and stapling, with prototype-to-production runs.
All fabricated parts are made in America at our Lancaster County, Pennsylvania facility. Send us a drawing or a sample of the part you’re replacing, and we’ll handle the rest.
Quick answers to the questions engineers and buyers ask most about our industrial thermal insulation.
What is the difference between Nu-Board Original and Super?
The temperature ceiling. Original is rated to 1,800°F, Super to 2,300°F. Both die-cut cleanly and resist thermal shock. Choose Super above 1,800°F.
What temperature can industrial thermal insulation withstand?
The materials on this page are rated for continuous service up to 2,300°F, with little physical change to the material.
Can insulation blankets be removed for maintenance and reinstalled?
Yes, that’s the design intent behind R&R blankets. The cover and filler hold up through many outages, so your crew can reinstall them instead of replacing them.
