Heat Resistant Fabric for Extreme Industrial Environments
If you need industrial-grade heat-resistant fabric for fire curtains, blanket filler, expansion joints, or heat shields, you’re in the right place. This is American-made material built for molten metal splash and continuous high heat, not craft or apparel fabric.
Treated woven fiberglass that withstands 1,200–1,500°F continuous heat with a 2,080°F melting point. Meets numerous US Military and NFPA specifications. Its special finish resists sparks and heavy metal splash. Typical uses: blanket filler, gasketing, expansion joints, fire curtains.
Super Hot-Stop® Fabric/Tape (Up to 1,800°F, 3,000°F Melting Point)
Heavy-duty protection against weld sparks, molten metal, and radiant heat in environments up to 1,800°F, with a 3,000°F melting point. Comes in heavy (H) or light (L) thickness. Typical uses: fire protective wraps, heat shields, gaskets, expansion joints.
Flexible, non-flammable textile with high tensile strength and strong chemical resistance, rated up to 1,000°F. Available as fabric, tape, rope, sleeving, or cord. Highly customizable for cloth, tubing, and rope applications.
Beyond the branded lines, you can specify the base material and coating your application demands.
Silica, Fiberglass & Ceramic Fiber Fabrics
Choose silica fabric for the highest service temperatures, fiberglass fabric for strength and value, or woven ceramic fabrics and tapes rated up to 2,300°F. Each high-temp fabric comes in multiple weights and weaves.
Vermiculite-coated fabric sheds molten splash instead of absorbing it. Silicone-coated and Teflon-coated fiberglass add abrasion and chemical resistance with a non-stick surface.
Inconel Wire-Inserted Fabrics
When your high-temperature cloth must hold its shape under mechanical stress, Inconel wire insertion adds reinforcement for demanding sealing and shielding jobs.
You’ll also find heat-resistant tapes, rope, and sleeving for added protection. Every style can be fabricated in-house to your exact dimensions.
Compliance documentation shouldn’t be hard to find. Here’s where our fabric lines stand.

What is the most heat-resistant fabric for industrial use?
For continuous service, silica and ceramic fiber fabrics handle the highest temperatures. Among our branded lines, Super Hot-Stop® leads with protection up to 1,800°F and a 3,000°F melting point.
What is the difference between Hot-Stop 1500 and Super Hot-Stop?
Hot-Stop® 1500 is treated woven fiberglass rated 1,200–1,500°F with a 2,080°F melting point. Super Hot-Stop® handles up to 1,800°F with a 3,000°F melting point and comes in heavy or light thickness.
Is your heat-resistant fabric NFPA certified?
Our Hot-Stop® 1500 line can be used to meet numerous NFPA specifications. Share your required standard, and we’ll confirm compliance before you order.
Can heat-resistant fabric be custom cut or sewn to size?
Yes. Every fabric we sell can be cut, sewn, or formed in-house into the exact part you need. That’s the advantage of a full-service supplier over a reseller.
