Fire Rescue Products:
Specialized High-Temperature Protective Materials

If you're sourcing fire rescue products for your department, here's what you should know up front: we manufacture specialized high-temperature protective materials, not general firefighting gear. Our focused line of fireproof gear is built with direct input from firefighters, manufactured in the USA, and trusted by departments nationwide.

HOT-STOP® High Rise Fire Curtain

About Our Fire Rescue Products

When you’re evaluating fire rescue equipment, you need a supplier that does one thing well. Our line covers four core products: HOT-STOP® High Rise Fire Curtains, flashover simulator helmet covers, Glastemp® protective helmet covers, and fire containment bags for aircraft, plus fire-resistant fabric and high-temperature materials for specialized rescue and industrial needs.

Everything we make is developed with and for firefighters, starting with our flagship curtain, built in direct collaboration with the FDNY. We engineer, test, and manufacture our own materials.

Our Most Popular
Fire Rescue Products

Four products make up the core of our fire rescue line. Each one below includes the specs your procurement team needs to evaluate fit and performance.

Flashover Simulator Helmet Covers

Built for training academies whose flashover simulators put helmets through conditions no street fire will.

  • Application: Flashover simulators and live-fire training containers
  • Protection: Shields helmet shells from direct flame and radiant heat during repeated burns
  • Fit: Sized for standard structural training helmets

HOT-STOP® High Rise Fire Curtains (Developed for FDNY)

Our best-selling fire rescue product, developed for the FDNY to control fire and smoke spread in high-rise stairwells and corridors.

  • Application: High-rise fire and smoke containment in stairwells, hallways, and doorways
  • Key benefit: Rapid single-firefighter deployment; blocks fire and smoke without water

Fire Containment Bags for Aircraft

When a device ignites in a cabin or confined space, you need containment you can deploy in seconds.

  • Application: Containment of burning phones, laptops, and other devices in aircraft cabins
  • Material: Multi-layer high-temperature fabric that contains flame and heat
  • Custom options: Available in custom dimensions

Glastemp® Protective Helmet Covers (1,000°F Melting Point)

Made from fabric with a 1,000°F melting point, sized for traditional-style helmets.

  • Fabric melting point: 1,000°F
  • Construction: Bungee cord sewn into the underside of the brim for a quick, secure fit
  • Seam thread: Teflon-coated Glastemp thread, so stitching holds at the same temperatures as the fabric

Why Fire Departments Trust IEP

Two reasons departments come back to us: where we make our products and how we build them.

USA Manufacturing

Every fire rescue product we make is manufactured in the United States. You’re not gambling on imported materials when safety depends on it. You’re buying American-made quality from a company that’s been engineering high-temperature solutions since 1993.

Custom Fabrication Capabilities

Departments don’t all run the same equipment. If you need a cover sized for a non-standard helmet, a containment bag with custom dimensions, or a fireproof blanket built to spec, our in-house team can build it.
