When a seal fails on your kiln door or boiler, heat escapes and costs climb. A custom tadpole gasket from Industrial Energy Products stops the leak. American-made and built to your exact spec since 1993.
Downtime isn’t an option, and neither is waiting weeks for a replacement. When you compare tadpole gasket suppliers, ask how fast they can ship. We stock a deep inventory of high-temperature textiles so that we can fabricate a high-temperature tadpole gasket in virtually any size and length.
Send your spec or sample, and we’ll match it, fast.
A tadpole seal gets its name from its shape: a round bulb attached to a flat tail. The bulb compresses to fill the gap, and the tail anchors to your door or frame.
How well that bulb and tail seal perform comes down to two choices: the core and the cover.
Inside the bulb, you choose the core. A tadpole gasket rope core gives solid compression, while a stainless steel mesh core handles higher pressure and rougher service.
We jacket every gasket in high-temperature or fireproof fabric, from coated fiberglass to silicone-impregnated Glastemp®. Not sure which fits your heat level? We’ll help.
Every application seals a little differently. That’s why we build tadpole gaskets in several standard styles, plus fully custom configurations.
A double tadpole gasket puts two bulbs on one tail, giving you two sealing surfaces in one gasket. It’s a common fix for doors and dampers where one seal line isn’t enough.
Two-bulb tadpole seals carry two bulbs side by side for wider flanges and uneven surfaces. If your door and frame don’t line up, this style takes up the variation and seals tight.
If you can describe it, we can build it in any size or length. Send your bulb diameter, tail width, temperature, core, cover fabric, and length, or a sample to work from.
Poor seals on incubators and hatchers drive up energy costs and wreck temperature control. Here’s how one hatchery solved it for good.
Silicone-Impregnated Glastemp® Over Closed-Cell Neoprene Core
A hatchery manager in Mount Joy, PA saw foam gaskets fail after every washdown. We built the Glastemp hatchery gasket to end it: silicone-impregnated Glastemp® over a neoprene core.
Withstands Washdown Cycles Without Deterioration
Unlike standard gaskets and tapes, the Glastemp® hatchery tadpole gasket survives washing and rinsing without losing function. The hatchery cut costs and got a lasting seal.
The right gasket pays for itself in energy savings and avoided downtime. Pair it with our industrial thermal insulation, and you cover the rest of your high-temperature equipment.
A tight seal keeps heat where it belongs, so you get lower energy bills and steadier process temperatures, plus a gasket you’re not replacing or reordering every few months.
Tadpole gaskets resist chemicals, abrasion, and compression set, holding their seal over a long service life. Every gasket is manufactured in the U.S.A., not imported.
Buying a custom seal raises questions, and you shouldn’t have to call for basic answers. Here are the ones we hear most often.
Request a quote with your dimensions, temperature, and application details, or send us your existing gasket spec or sample, and we’ll match it. You’ll get a fast, straightforward answer from a team that’s been manufacturing high-temperature sealing solutions in the U.S.A. since 1993.
